NOTICE: The latest batch of XPS3 switches from the manufacturer are not functioning correclty in 3 and 4-way configurations. Though the relay has been improved to have a much more quite (almost silent) action, the new relays are having issues being paired up with the companion switch. These units work perfectly well (even better than the older XPS3 units due to the new relay) in single switch operations, however, if you are looking for 3 or 4-way operation, we would suggest going with thefor now. We will remove this message once we receive new units from our manufacturer.
All XPS3 switches with the batch code 14C11 (noted by the white sticker on the bottom of the unit) have this issue.
Until this message is removed, these XPS3 Switches can only be used as a single switch operation and will not work in 3 or 4-way configurations.
Integrate your large, wired-in appliances and or flourescent and CFL bulbs/fixtures into your home X10 system with the XPS3 X10 Pro Decorator Wall Switch Module. Replace your standard wall switch for complete local and remote X10 control of heaters, air conditioners, pool equipment and other high-power devices, as well as incandescent and non-incandescent light bulbs. The XPS3 Pro Switch
can be used in 3-way and 4-way applications with the addition of one or more XPSS Companion Switch, and it can be paired with your current switch plate or one available at any local hardware or big box store.
Consumers should be aware that the XPS3 X10 Decorator Wall Switch Module responds to the All Lights On command, and care should be taken when they control large appliances.
