Test the design and setup of any X10 system

The XPTT sends a continuous X10 powerline signal from the location where it is plugged in.

Use in conjunction with XPTR Signal Strength Indicator to help troubleshoot and diagnose problems with powerline signal noise and interference.

Electrical devices such as TV, VGA, stereo, low voltage power supplies, computers, monitors and power strips with surge protection all have a tendency to "dump" electrical noise on the power lines as broad band frequencies.

If excess signal noise is discovered, you can use one of many new electronic devices available to the public that utilize advanced circuitry to "clean' your power supply before serving the power to attached circuits. When this is done, the waste power or noise is dumped out of its plug and directly on the power lines of the structure.
