Any member of your household can control lights and appliances locally, with this simple and accessible X10 wall switch. And with an X10 remote, like the HR12PalmPad Remote Control, you can do even more. The XPS3 Pro Switch allows you to control elements via X10 wireless remotes and plug-in controllers, like the like the X10 Pro XPMT4 Mini Tmer and the X10 SC503 Maxi Controller, and responds to the All Lights On and All Units Off commands.

Consumers should be aware that the XPS3 X10 Pro Decorator Wall Switch Module responds to the All Lights On command, and care should be taken when they control large appliances. X10 appliance modules, like the PAM02 3 Pin Grounded Appliance Module, or an SR227 X10 wall receptacles should be used if you intend to use the All Lights On function and don't want your appliances to respond.

For single-pole applications, leave the "control" terminal unconnected.

Because these switches respond to ALL LIGHTS ON, use care when controlling non-lamp loads. Use an X10 appliance module or wall receptacle if you don't want your device to respond to that command.

A three-way circuit requires one relay switch and one multi-way companion switch. A four-way circuit requires one relay switch and two multi-way companion switches.
