The Home Heartbeat™ system monitors up to 30 areas in your home, sending alerts over IEEE standard radio technology (also known as ZigBee) to a tiny handheld receiver that displays system status and sensor alerts. This water sensor starter kit includes the Home Key™ receiver, a base station, a water sensor and also includes one BONUS open/closed sensor, which sends real-time information on the status of a door or window, a drawer or jewelry box, a storage area or even a gun cabinet.

The Water Detection Sensor is a battery-powered water leak sensor that sends real-time data to the system's base station to alert you instantly in the event of a leak.

The water sensor helps alert you to potential property damage that results from flooding or leaks.  Put it anywhere flooding or faulty plumbing could cause a problem.

Additional sensors are sold separately; add up to 30 to monitor your entire house.

Easy to Install and Set Up

The base station takes in information from the sensors and reports that information back out, to your Home key device when within range of the home. Use the included Home Key to program new sensors to your system. If a second family member wants to receive alerts, additional Home Keys are available.

Open Standards

The Home Heartbeat system can evolve as technology evolves. A USB port on the base allows for firmware updates and customization, and the entire wireless communication capability is upgradeable to whatever the current standards are.
