Have you ever wished you could control lighting scenes with a handheld remote from the comfort of your couch? The RemoteLinc is the first wireless remote to send INSTEON commands to your lighting and appliances to control them remotely, turning any INSTEON-compatible device in your home on and off at the press of a button. You can even create multiple lighting scenes and dim lights to romantic levels with this handy wireless remote that fits in your hand. Use any of the six buttons to control up to 417 INSTEON devices as well as ALL ON & OFF and DIM/BRIGHT. The RemoteLinc includes a customizable label with a clear mylar protector to keep it clean. An Access Point is required for use of the RemoteLinc and is sold separately. Note: The RemoteLinc is not X10 compatible. What is INSTEON? Watch the RemoteLinc Video to see the world's first INSTEON remote control in action.

RemoteLinc also available with a soft-touch sueded black finish .

What It Does
RemoteLinc allows you to control whole-room or whole-house scenes with the touch of a button from the comfort of your couch. What does that mean? You can dim the lights in your home theater, turn on your fireplace, and turn off the lights in surrounding rooms without getting up!

When entertaining, keep your attention on your guests! With one button press, you can easily brighten your chandelier, painting spotlights, and sconces to that perfect brightness every time, allowing you turn on your lights without diverting your attention from your guests.

The possibilities are endless: With minimal funds and a little bit of imagination, you can begin turning your home into the home of the future today.

How it Works
Tapping the ON/OFF buttons on the RemoteLinc turns your lights (or scenes) ON and OFF; press and hold the ON button to brighten every light in the scene or press and hold the OFF button to dim every light in the scene. The ALL ON/ALL OFF buttons control all devices linked to any of the six ON/OFF buttons plus any additional devices you link to them. The BRIGHT/DIM buttons brighten and dim the last INSTEON devices you controlled from your RemoteLinc. The white LED indicator blinks when messages are being sent and during set up. The RemoteLinc is powered by four AAA alkaline batteries (included); it will also function with rechargeable batteries (sold separately).

What Else You Need
INSTEON Access Points (sold separately) are required because RemoteLinc's RF INSTEON signals need to be bridged with all of your power line INSTEON devices. Although RemoteLinc boasts an impressive 150+ foot range, the more Access Points you have, the more places you can use RemoteLincs.

Easy Setup
RemoteLinc can be set up in less than five minutes to control your lights using its simple "linking mode." For example, if you want to control a lamp plugged into an INSTEON LampLinc Dimmer from your RemoteLinc and already have your Access Points installed, follow these steps: choose a button on the RemoteLinc and press and hold it for 10 seconds, putting your RemoteLinc into linking mode. Then press and hold the SET button on the LampLinc and you're done! Your LampLinc can now be controlled by that ON/OFF button, the ALL ON/ALL OFF and BRIGHT/DIM buttons on your RemoteLinc.

Required Accessories
An Access Point is required. Note: SignaLinc RF's do not work with RemoteLinc. Additional INSTEON devices to control with your RemoteLinc.
